Research

At HRCPAD, research is at the heart of our mission to address health disparities and promote health equity for Black Canadians. Our focus is on conducting high-quality, impactful research that explores the intersections of Anti-Black racism, systemic barriers, and the health challenges faced by Black communities.
We prioritize studies that highlight the unique health needs of diverse African-descendant populations, seeking to uncover the root causes of health inequities and identify effective, culturally relevant solutions. By empowering researchers and supporting innovative approaches, we aim to contribute to a body of knowledge that not only advances scientific understanding but also informs policy and practice to create lasting change in healthcare systems across Canada and the African diaspora.
